The Kuselan team met the press today.
P.Vasu and Superstar Rajinikanth have come together once again for Kuselan, the remake of the Malayalam hit Katha Parayumbol. The duo is making the film in Tamil as well as Telugu. The Tamil version stars Pasupathy, while the Telugu version has Jagapathy Babu.

The Malayalam original had Mammootty and Sreenivasan play the main roles. Rajni plays the role enacted by Mammootty. The story of the film is by Sreenivasan and it has been adapted to appeal to the Tamil and Telugu audiences. Meena returns to the silver screen after sometime. She plays Pasupathy's wife. She played the same role in the Malayalam original.

In Tamil the movie is being produced by K. Balachander's Kavithalaya Productions. The music of the film is expected to be released by the last week of June.
