It was reported earlier that the Rajinikanth starrer Kuselan (Kathanayakudu in Telugu) would be released worldwide with about 1200 prints. But the latest reports suggest otherwise. The film is now likely to be released with just around 500 prints. The reason? Rajinikanth wants the producers the release with a lesser number of prints so that the film will run for a longer duration. Rajinikanth feels that the only way a film will run to packed houses for 100 days and more is to release it with fewer prints.
