Aascar Films’ production Leelai – which stars Shiv Pandit who rose to fame with his stint as an anchor during the IPL series and Mansi Parekh – is a love story about two software engineers; Mansi is not a new face to you as you would have seen this beautiful and effervescent girl in myriad ad films and serials.
Leelai has been entirely shot in HCL in Chennai. Filming is complete except for a few songs, which Mr. Ravichandran has decided to shoot in never-seen-before locations in India.
S. J. Suryah’s associate Andrew Louis directs this film apart from writing its story, screenplay, and dialogues. Andrew’s directorial and narrative skills, R. Velraj’s cinematography skills, and sleek and plush interiors of HCL will give the viewers a feeling like they are watching a romantic Hollywood flick. And there is no doubt that Velraj will become the most sought-after cinematographer after this film.
Music of Leelai is by A.R.Rahman’s assistant Satish Chakravarthy; therefore it is needless to say how beautiful the film’s music will be. Satish’s music augments the emotions portrayed on the screen. It looks like Kollywood is embellished with another jewel in its crown – Satish Chakravarthy.
