Famous ad filmmaker Lekha Rathnakumar has introduced many models through his innumerable ads. Now, he is introducing a beautiful heroine – Megha Raj – in his first full-length film Vettaikkaran. This adroit ad filmmaker is making a romantic-thriller which has a good screenplay and interesting twists in the plot. To select the heroine, he conducted a screen test in which many models participated. He finally zeroed in on Megha Raj, one of his favourite models. He firmly believes that she has the face that suits the script and is capable of emoting the character’s ideas and feelings on screen. Besides, she is very beautiful and cute!
About Megha Raj: Though she is a new face in Kollywood, we are well-acquainted with that pleasant and bright smile we get to see on myriad ads on TV. She has endorsed innumerable brands and had done ads with Sachin Tendulkar and Aishwarya Rai. Daughter of famous Bhojpuri film producer Raj Israni, aged 19, she is a student of Anupam Kher's School of Acting, also studying Commerce and learning Bharatnatyam.
At present, Lekha Rathnakumar is busy with storyboard and brainstorming sessions and he is absolutely happy with the results. Vettaikkaran will be launched pretty soon.
