The Madhavan-Sangeetha starrer Evano Oruvan is yet to be officially released in India. However, yesterday there was a special screening of the movie in Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai. The screening was for a special cause. Sponsored by Apollo Hospitals and Singapore Airlines, this was a charity show whose proceeds were given to "Save a Child's Heart" (SACH) Foundation, an initiative by Apollo Hospitals to help underprivileged children afflicted by heart disease.
Madhavan, along with Mr. Bharath Mahadevan (Singapore Airlines Representative), presented a cheque of Rs. 3.25 lakhs to Dr. Srinidhi Chidambaram, Co-coordinator for "Save a Child's Heart".
