Malarinum Melliya is a film about an aged couple in love. The film, starring Vignesh and Varshini, has the lead pair playing the role of persons in their eithties.
Set in a village backdrop, the emotional story explores the life of this love-lorn couple, who, due to circumstances, are unable to get married to each other but are still committed to their love.
The film, produced under the banner of Divyadarshini Productions, is directed by debutant P.S. Selvaraj. This film was completed in a record 36 days.
