Recently, actress Malavika scorched the ramp in a fashion show conducted by Fibin and Lakshmi Surya (NIFT graduates and designers). She wore a pink toga teamed with a kurti and set the ramp on fire.
The show was divided into three sections. The one that followed Malavika’s catwalk mostly comprised traditional outfits like sarees and kurtas. The second featured male and female models wearing casual wear. Myriads of casual wear were on display.
The final section was the eye-popper. It was for cocktail wear – apparel to be worn to cocktail parties. It was very inventive and impressive and proved to be the highlight of this show.
Sun TV fame Archana was the MC for the show. Students from the dance school Flyers performed during the breaks between the rounds. They performed to foot-tapping movie numbers. Overall, it was a very splendid event.
