GV Kumar's Puli Varudhu shooting was disrupted when a hired Elephant went on a rampage. A scene that required the presence of an elephant was being filmed, when for no perceivable reason the animal went wild. Thankfully, before it could create irreparable damage the mahout came to the rescue and calmed it down. Unfortunately, Manivannan was knocked down by the animal and sustained injuries to his leg. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. He was not seriously injured, and should recover in a few days. Here's wishing him a speedy recovery.
