Mantra, a film which rocked Tollywood, will now be released in Tamil. The film has a beautiful script, screenplay, music, and above all, beautiful Charmi, who will surely walk away with everyone’s heart. Charmi is not new to Kollywood; she has acted in Kadhal Kisu Kisu and Kadhal Azhivathillai. Now, she is one of the frontline actresses in Tollywood.
In this film, she is a helpless girl coming to terms with a huge loss – the death of her philanthropic father, who due to his naivety, has left her a huge burden of debt as a legacy. In a desperate attempt, she tries to pay off the debt by selling her father’s farmhouse, but she finds no takers as the farmhouse is enshrouded in mystery. A henchman (Shivaji) hired by her father’s creditors to collect the outstanding amount from her, takes pity on her and helps her solve the mystery and sell the property.
The film was well-received by Tollywood and termed as “a step closer to Hollywood”. In this film, Charmi will steal your heart with her charm. She rocks! The male lead actor, Shivaji, has done a very neat job.
Director Osho Tulasiram (also the story and screenplay writer) excels in his narration and presentation. Anand has scored the film’s beautiful music. Apart from good storyline, taut screenplay and Charmi, music is its highlight; the film has four songs, of which a pop song filmed on Charmi is very attractive.
