Agam Puram is a forthcoming promising film starring Shaam. Recently, a change was made in this film: Keerath was supposed to be the heroine, but now she has been replaced by Meenakshi, as Keerath could not allot the dates promised.
Both Keerath and Meenakshi are upcoming actresses of Kollywood. Keerath, a busy actress in Tollywood, has completed her part in the Arjun starrer Dhurai, which is quite a newsmaker these days. Meenakshi is acting in Rajathi Raja alongside Lawrence and in Taxi No. 4777 alongside Ajmal. She got noticed for her role in Karuppasamy Kutthagaitharar and her growth has been steady ever since.
Agam Puram is directed by Thirumalai, who directed Karan in Thee Nagar. The film’s promos and Shaam’s bulging muscles tell that this will be a good action film. But it is also stated that Shaam will have ample opportunity to showcase his acting skills too. In this film Shaam is transformed from an honest man to an industrialist with clandestine and illegal business after a few bitter experiences. This transformation allows him to don three getups in this film – an honest but angry young man who is not happy with the society; a man who takes to drinking frustrated by the society’s waywardness; and an industrialist whose business is based on illegal means.
