Producer-Director Anbu, who is making Mittai, promises that the film is nothing short of a tasty sweetmeat as it depicts the sweetest part of a youth’s life – college life. It is an embodiment of camaraderie, love, infatuation, studies, last-minute cramming, fun and excitement found in a college campus.
Mittai stars Santosh (of Kadhal Seyya Virumbhu and Thiru Renga fame), Prabha (of Pirappu fame), and Malayalam heroine Maya Unni in the lead. The support cast comprises Sathyan, Maganathi Sankar, Singamuthu, Charms and Poochi.
What are the highlights of the film?
A) A song beautified with graphics and animation will be especially loved by children, as it features Dora, the explorer and Bujji (fans of Chutti TV need no introduction to these)
B) Interesting screenplay
C) Music by Sabesh-Murali. Also, Mittai features a remix version of the yesteryear hit ‘Adi Aathadi’ from Kadalora Kavithaigal

E) Bharathi Raja’s style: Since Anbu is a devoted student of Bharathi Raja, one could trace his style to the brilliant director. Anbu has even named his production company Bharathi Raja Team Players, which now has been shortened to B Team Players.
