The shooting for Silandhi, directed by debutante director Aadhi and produced by Shankar under G company, was going on at full speed in Chennai, when it came to a stop due to a minor accident.
While shooting an item song, heroine Monica, who was singing and dancing on the sets of a waterfall in her glamorous role, slipped and fell on the sets. She bled from bruises on her arms and legs, and was given first aid. The shooting came to a halt due to Monica’s mishap.
Monica was earlier seen in Azhagi and Imsai Arasan.
