Prithviraj and Prakashraj made a perfect pair in Mozhi. With their breezy humour, the duo had the audiences in splits throughout the film.
Now, the pair is back again in Vellitherai. But this time, they are pitted against each other in a story set against the backdrop of the film industry. Prakashraj plays an actor, a superstar, while Prithviraj plays an aspiring director.
There is one more Mozhi connection to this film. Vellitherai’s director Viji is the man behind the witty and sharp dialogues in Mozhi.
Gopika and Lakshmi Rai play the female leads while there are a host of special appearances by Trisha, ‘Jayam’ Ravi, Sandya and many more. The film’s composer is the young G.V. Prakash Kumar, whose rocking numbers and soulful melodies are topping the charts.
