Mittai is the maiden directorial attempt of M.S..Anbu under BE Team Productions banner. Santosh, Prabhu are the lovable lead players of Mittai. The famous Sabesh-Murali duo have composed the music for this venture. 'Azhagana' in Krishnaraj's solo voice is a sorrowful tune. 'Devadhaiyae', the next in Prasanna and Vinayatha's voices, is a lilting romantic number. Timmy and Jeno render the fusion song 'Katraipola'. Full of energy, the music in the song is surprisingly soft and underplayed, so it focuses attetnion to the meaningful lyrics. 'Mittai Peeney' in Reshma and M.K. Balaji's voices is a foot-tapping number in the composers' typical style. 'Adi Aathaadi' is a lovely remix of the yesteryear hit number. Sung by Sunil, Jayadev and Sabesh, the song is presented with its originality intact. 'Aasaipadu' is a happy chorus in Benny Dayal & Co. The song jubilantly starts off with the famous lines from the popular fairy-tale. Sabesh-Murali's compositions for Mittai reflect popular listeners' choices.
