Saadhu Miranda has Prasanna and Kavya Madhavan in the lead. The story is about an easygoing young man who has no specific goal in life. Kavya, the cheerful heroine, anchors a popular TV show. Noted Malayalam director Siddique, who has given hits in Tamil such as Friends and Engal Anna, directs the movie. Deepak Dev’s music for Saadhu Miranda has produced an enjoyable album. With new singers, refreshing tunes and rhythm, all the six songs are typical of the composer’s eminence and style. Songs like ‘Needhaana needhaana’ will be on every listener's lips.
There is pure melody in ‘Aagaayam Kaanamal Ponalum’. The song does not have any extra embellishments; its mood is the central point of attraction. Jyothsna and Sreenivas’s voices convey the mood effectively.
‘Habibi Habibi’ is a fun number with a new touch to it. The song has brought out an interesting new dimension to Vijay Yesudas’s tone.
‘Puyalodu Modhidum’ is an intense, short number filled with palpable energy. Susith Suresan’s diligence in rendering coalesces with the accomplishment. The fast title track ‘Saadhu Miranda’ is also sung by Susith.
‘Needhaana Needhaana’ is a sprightly lovers’ tune sung by Swetha and Ranjit. Both the singers present it with care and the combination of their voices is very sweet to listen to.
With a striking tone, Jassie Gift has become one of the most-liked voices in the film songs circuit. Vineetha’s prelude as well her part in the song sparkles with a special effort. As a result, ‘Ramana Porandhalum’, the fifth track in the album, impresses the listeners instantly.
The music album of Saadhu Miranda will be a worthy addition to every music lover's collection.
