Pazhani is director Perarasu's next film, where Bharath plays the role of a car driver. Kajal Aggarwal is the heroine. Khusbu appears as Bharath's sister. The basic plotline of the movie revolves around the affection between a brother and sister and the problems arising from the said relationship. Pazhani is expected to have a lot of sentimental touches and masala ingredients. Srikanth Deva's music for the movie are typical buoyant tunes presented with enjoyable variety.
'Ellam valla Iraiva' is the opening number. Sung by Tippu, style is the song's highlight. It draws all listeners, being a mixture of a string of musical hits from films of all top-notch heroes.
Mukesh's 'Thaayai Polathaan' is a slow-moving number, packed with emotion.
The demand for energetic numbers is always more. In addition to being one, 'Innoru Murai' has done some acknowledged 'lifting' from 'Adhiradikkaara' in Sivaji. Vasundhra Das and Naveen have done their best to give the song a feel and appeal similar to 'Adhiradikkaara'.
Perarasu and Suchithra team up to present the Kuthu 'Locku Locku'. Perarasu warbles, demonstrating a new style along with Suchithra. With verbal frills and a down-to-earth tune, the song will effortlessly move to the top-list.
'Thiruvaroor Thaere' is set to a very familiar tune. Anuradha Sriram and Udit Narayan sing the current version.
'Yaarum Ennidam' strikes many chords in listeners' memories as the accompanying music resembles an interesting and familiar pot pourri. Sadhana Sargam is very much in her element, handling the high-pitched number with finesse and Karthik's voice adds to the charm.
