Pathu Pathu is directed by debutant Sathyam and features Thalaivasal Vijay, Sona and 'Metti Oli' Bose in lead roles. The movie is an action-comedy-thriller and shooting is going on in and around Chennai. Songs in Pathu Pathu are luring because of their uncomplicated tunes. All the songs in debutant L.V. Ganesan's music are enjoyable.
'Alibaba Alibaba' sung by Sangeetha is refreshing and progresses on an even tempo. The highlight of 'Vaada Vaada' is its casual lingo and simple music. Roshni sings the melody. 'Malla Malla' is also a very pleasing song rendered by Vinay. 'Poovum Poovum', another soft song by Vinay, is remarkably enticing. Whether it is a folk song or a contemporary tune, Ganesan's music handles them with equal élan.
