Nam Naadu, the Sarath Kumar-starrer has taken its name from the yesteryear MGR blockbuster. The story has a strong political tinge.
Sarath is the protagonist who rises through different levels in politics and becomes a Home Minister. The climax deals with the resolving of various issues with his father, the Education Minister, played by Nasser.
Karthika plays the female lead. Ramesh Kanna has created the dialogues and the movie is produced by Ramesh Babu of Kanakaratna movies.
The film is in the shooting stages.
