Now, the tall and well-built actor-politician-entrepreneur has added sports to his gamut of vocations, though he is not directly involved in a sporting activity. He has been unanimously elected President of Tamil Nadu Basketball Association by its members. This comes in the wake of sacking of the current president of the association, Mr. Dhyaneshwaran. Mr. Dhyaneshwaran had been the president for Tamil Nadu Basketball Association for the past 25 years. He was axed by the panel members on the account of charges which include: Leasing the basketball court of Chennai to activities not related to sports, lack of effort in encouraging the sport, and so on.
The panel members believe that with Napolean donning this role, the growth of basketball in Tamil Nadu is going to be good. Napolean has promised the same.
