We saw him as the 'hep wannabe' in Boys, and then he just astounded us with his performance in Kadhal. Movies that followed won satisfactory, if not resounding applause. But his forthcoming movie Nepali will catapult him sky high, director VZ Durai promises.
Durai made the emotional drama Mugavari with Ajith, which the Ultimate Star listed as one of the best movies he's done. And now Durai has impressed the rising star Bharath as well. In Neplai, Bharath plays three characters - a Nepali, an educated youngster and a prisoner. In performing these three varied roles under the able guidance of director Durai, Bharath's acting skills have benefited immensely. Durai says that the unique aspect of the movie will be the screenplay. In what way it's unique is something we are going to have to wait and see!
Playing the lady lead is Meera Jasmine. Meera Krishnan, Boys Rajan, Sangeetha, Mayil Samy, Govind Namdev and others play supporting roles. Mathi is the director of photography. Green Eye Theatres are the producers of this movie. Srikanth Deva has composed five songs for the movie that have been penned by Yugabharathy, Vijayasagar and Karthik Netha.
