With direction by Thirumurugan, Bharath is acting in the quaintly titled Muniyandi Vilangial Moonramandu. Starring opposite Bharath is debutante Poorna. The movie is the love story of youngsters, students in a village college with a very traditional set up.
A certain song sequence in the movie has been made with a rather unique backdrop. A huge set of a menagerie was erected in Thriupathur, replete with real live animals. Bharath and Poorna manage to get locked up within the museum, and their parents search the whole college for them. Outside the menagerie, two rowdy gangs are fighting each other; not far away, Vadivelu who plays a priest in the movie, is injured and is hoping for someone to come to his aid. To add to this, it is pouring cats and dogs!
The song sequence thus encompasses the young lovers lost in the menagerie, their troubled parents, an action sequence with the rowdies and a comedy sequence with Vadivelu. How Thirumurugan has captured all these in one song is something we will have to wait and see.
