One of the immensely talented actresses in Kollywood today, Padmapriya is now trying to shed her ‘serious’ image and plans to do more commercial films this year.
Padmapriya, who debuted in Tamil with Cheran’s Thavamai Thavamirundhu, is also glad that she is teaming up with Cheran once again in Pokkisham.
The actress is now all set to make her debut in Bollywood, pairing with Siddharth of Boys fame for Striker, based on the life of a carrom player. The film is set to release soon.
Meanwhile, the actress now wants to concentrate on doing commercial films to avoid being stereotyped as an 'art film actress'. She plays to devote more time for commercial films once she completes Pokkisham.
