The movie Pandi’s audio launch was a grand star-studded event, held at A.V.M. Studio’s preview theatre at 6:30 p.m. on May 7, 2008. The movie has Raghava Lawrence and Sneha in the lead. The first audio CD was released by Dhanush and received by director Perarasu. The first audio cassette was released by Bharath and it received by Sandya.
The film has evoked great expectations among audiences as Lawrence is coming out with this movie after giving two consecutive hits in Tamil, Muni and Latchiyam. He had directed and acted in these movies, but in Pandi, he dons the role of an actor alone.
