Paruthiveeran was a rollicking hit, but Director Ameer has not got his fair share of the deal yet. He went to court stating that the movie’s producer Gnanavel Raja had not yet paid him the Rs. 80 lakhs due to him. Ameer does not want the movie to be dubbed into other languages before his payment is made, and he wants the court ruling to say as much. And just as the two sides were waiting for the verdict, things took on a new turn.
The movie is a true story and the wife of the real Paruthiveeran now claims that she wants a slice of the profits – the 80 lakhs due to the director to be more specific! The judge however, has put her claim on hold, saying that the case filed was only between Ameer and Gnanvel Raja; her case would be taken up a week later. Will Ameer become ameer (rich) or not? Will Gnanvel Raja have to shell out another bag of money, thus creating one more ameer (rich person)? Stay tuned to know the climax in a fitting court scene!
