When he pens the lyrics for the songs, the words portray the exact feelings that he has for the situation in which the song is to be picturised. Given that the story is his, the level of involvement that he has with it reflects greatly in his writing. This, he says, is the only reason why he writes the lyrics; he has no personal vendetta against lyricists. In fact, when other directors approach him to create lyrics for songs in their movies, he always turns them down, so that a lyricist will not be deprived of that opportunity.

Well, Perarasu is busy with Pazhani right now. A beautiful love song was recently shot in the exquisite Golkonda Fort near Hyderabad. The director assures us that the lyrics, melody and location where the song has been shot, will surely take our breath away! For now, we’ll take his word on that!
