Producers and directors are quite particular about the date of release of their movies. To get out of the jam of multiple movie releases, some movies are released before Pongal.
One such movie is Mani Rathnam’s Guru which was released today. Movies of two leading stars, Ajith and Vijay, are going to be released before Pongal, on 14th January. The up and coming star Vishal’s movie Thaamirabharani and Ameer’s Paruthiveeran will be released on the day of Pongal.
So the Pongal race will be between Aalwar and Pokkiri. Let’s wait and see which of these movies will be the biggest box-office hit.
