Pongal release movies such as Pokkiri, Aalwar and Thaamirabharani have had a good run of 25 days. All these three movies have been receiving positive remarks from the public. Day by day the audience for these movies has been steadily increasing.
Pokkiri is the second movie in which Vijay and Asin have joined together after the movie Sivakasi. This movie has yet another feature of attraction and that is, the choreographer Prabhu Deva has made his debut as director in Kollywood.
The successful pair of Varalaru has given yet another hit as Aalwar. Ajith and Asin have given a wonderful performance in this movie. This movie was directed by Chella. Mohan Natarajan has produced it.
Thaamirabharani which is the fourth film of Vishal, has had a good run of 25 days. Banu, Prabhu and Nadhiya play prominent roles in this movie. The story is about the relationship and sentiments between two families. Hari has directed this movie. B.Bharathi Reddy has produced it under the banner Vijaya Productions.
