The Producers' Council has asked the makers of Porukki and Kettavan to change the names of their respective movies.
As these names fix the nature of people and are absolutely derogatory, the Council has advised to change them, no matter how relevant they may be to the movie.
In case the required changes are not made, the movies will be ineligible for the tax benefits offered to films with Tamil titles.
