Moser Baer, India's largest home video company, ties up with Duet movies, Prakash Raj's production company to co-produce Tamil films. The first three films are Vellithirai with Prakash Raj, Pritviraj, Gopika, M.S. Bhaskar in the cast, directed by Viji, Abhiyum Naanum featuring Trisha and Prakash Raj and directed by Radhamohan and Mayilu directed by Jeevan with newcomers in the lead.
Duet movies has already produced quality movies like Mozhi, Kanda Naal Mudhal and Azhagiya Theeye.
G. Dhanajayan, Chief operating officer, Moser Baer, said that this would be a logical extension to enter into production in addition to distribution of content similar what they had done in Hindi.
Prakash Raj said that with corporates entering the movie industry, it would be a team effort towards producing good cinema.
