Prakashraj is indeed an actor rare to find. Though the actor has acted in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi, it is in Tamil that he wishes to keep producing films.
The reason? Prakashraj says that it is the people of Tamilnadu who are more open to experiments and welcome good films with open arms. The actor is still in awe about the tremendous response garnered by his Mozhi last year. “No one celebrates cinema as the people in Chennai,” says this powerhouse performer.
Not many film personalities invest their hard earned money in films as film production is generally considered a risky business. But, for Prakashraj, it is his passion. “I want to take good cinema to the people. If I have to take risks for that, I don’t mind taking them. Through production, I’m able to provide employment for many and I am happy about that,” says this passionate fan of cinema.
Meanwhile, the actor’s recently released Vellitherai, where he is once again teaming up with Prithviraj, is running to packed houses and winning great raves from the critics and the audiences.
