Actor Prasanna was injured while filming for Achamundu Achamundu in the US. John Shea (Hollywood actor who plays the villain) and Prasanna were acting in a stunt scene, which depicts Shea hitting Prasanna on the head with a rod. Shea lost his timing and hit Prasanna really hard. Prasanna narrowly escaped serious injury, was hospitalized, and is fast recovering.
Achamundu Achamundu is directed by debutante NRI director Arun Vaidyanathan. This thriller, which stars Prasanna and Sneha, is completely made in USA and stars many Hollywood actors, John Shea being one among them.
John Shea rose to fame in India with the TV serial Lois and Clarke (featuring Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher), in which he was featured as Lex Luther.
