With the inauguration of this spectacular gold shopping centre set for 16th March, Thiagarajan and Prashanth gave the press a sneak peek of the place and answered a number of questions in the press meet that followed.
Located in T. Nagar, the prime highlight of the Tower is the three floors of basement parking, which is a luxury most shops in the area cannot boast of! The building consists of ten floors, aesthetically designed, of which five floors will be occupied by Joy Alukkas, making it the biggest gold showroom in the world!
Speaking at the event, Thiagarajan said, “That we have the support of the best brands in the trade including Joy Alukkas, is heartening and confirms our belief that Prashanth Real Gold Tower will become a landmark in Chennai.” His son, actor Prashanth added, “With the launch of Prashanth Real Gold Tower, we will see a new change in the shopping patterns for jewellery too. Thiagarajan’s daughter Preethi, who is well learned in Gemolgy and Jewellery design with a degree in the same from the reputed GIA college, USA, will take charge of the management. Promoted by Chennai’s leading property developers Real Value Promoters Pvt. Ltd. as a joint venture with Thiagarajan and Prashanth, the tower promises to be a one-of-a-kind gold shopping mall in the city, reminiscent of the gold souks (markets) in the Arab Emirates.
