Priyamani has been getting about 20 lakhs as remuneration per film so far. But the success of films like Yamadonga (Telugu) and Paruthiveeran (Tamil) has emboldened her to jack up her remuneration. She is now asking for 40 lakhs, a 100 percent hike.

After portraying a simple village belle in Paruthiveeran and winning a National Award for it, she’s gone on to do many glamorous roles, the latest of which is a glam doll role in Hare Ram.

Priyamani has realized that being glam doll is more lucrative than being a good actress.
