After his not so impressive Pandurangudu, Nandamuri Balakrishna's next film will be launched on October 9th (Vijayadasami). Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, who previously produced Balakrishna’s starrer Aditya 369, Vamsanikokkade and Balevadivi Basu, is the producer. Mahadev (S.S. Rajamouli’s understudy) will be the debut director. Priyamani will be the heroine.

The producer stated in an interview, "We selected Priyamani as Balayya's heroine; Vijayendra Prasad is providing the story; dialogues are by Ratnam; Rama Rajamouli is the costume designer; Mani Sharma is the music director; art is by Anandsai and stunts are by Ram-Lakshman. The first schedule will start with the launch itself and will continue till October end. A 15-day schedule will take place every month till completion."

Chandramohan, Brahmanandam, Pradeep Rawat, Tannikella Bharani, Ahuti Prasad, Dharmavarapu and Balayya are confirmed to be in the cast at present.

Priyamani, who rose to fame with her National Award-winning performance in Paruthiveeran (Tamil), has established herself as one of the young princesses of Tollywood, having paired with Kalyan Ram and Junior NTR in some of Tollywood’s biggest hits this year.
