The traditional-looking Priyanka gave quite a commendable performance in Veyil but the movie Tholaipesi that followed dissolved into anonymity without much ado. Now, she is all spruced up to do a rather heavy role in a Malayalam movie based on the devastating 2002 caste wars that tore at the lifelines of Gujarat.
Titled Vilabangalluku Seksham, this movie also stars Suhasini, Tilakan and Biju in prominent roles. Priyanka plays the role of a woman whose life is mutilated by the ruthless riots.
