Pyramid Saimira, the film distributing MNC, has finally ventured into film production. They have decided to produce 10 Tamil films in this fiscal year. The first film from their banner will be Ayudham Seivom. Sundar C., the popular hero these days, will be the hero. The director is Udhayan, who has also written the story, screenplay, and dialogues. Anjali, of Kattradhu Tamizh fame, is the female lead.
Napoleon has a meaty role in this movie where Manivannan will play the villain after quite some time. Nasser appears as a freedom fighter. Actress Sukhanya acts as a Collector.
Vivek will provide the comedy track, featuring as traffic constable Kandasaamy. Vijaykumar, G.M. Kumar, Ponnambalam and Shanmugarajan form the supporting cast. K. Gnanasambandam, who arbitrates debates on TV, and writer Vela Ramamoorthy also have important roles. Malavika has a guest role and Vindhya does an item song 'Neynney Pettaikku'.
The crux of the story: A violent man who scorns at the very idea of having any ambition in life, turns over a new leaf and helps others to fulfil their ambitions.
Expectations are high as this is the first production venture from Pyramid Saimira who go to the extent of shelling out double the production cost of any movie they find promising when buying a movie's rights. Therefore, there is no doubt they will leave no stone unturned when it comes to film production. Pretty soon, they will be among the top production companies in Kollywood.
