Ace cinematographer-filmmaker Rajiv Menon will direct a short film pretty soon for the students of his Mindscreen Film Institute, which was launched in May 2006. The film has been titled Sita and will star Revathy and Divya.
Mindscreen Film Institute trains students on cinematography with emphasis on techniques and aesthetics. Apart from cinematography, the institute also offers courses on screen writing and assistant directorship.
Apart from his exceptional cinematographic work in films like Bombay and Guru, Rajiv Menon has also directed two beautiful films – Minsaara Kanavu and Kandukondain Kandukondain.
