The Madras Archdiocese is planning to make a film on St. Thomas in the most grand manner. The think-tank of the film is mulling over a lot of ideas in this regard. It has been already decided that this film will be made as grand as Ben-Hur or The Ten Commandments, and the film has super star power in the form of Ajith and Shalini. One of the many ideas discussed to increase the number of viewers was making Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan act together in this film.
But, given the busy schedules of these actors, this does not seem possible.
This film is being funded by Govt. of Canada and theVatican. Filming begins in January 2009 and the film is slated to be released in 2010.
