The two actors have a very good relationship on and off screen. They are more like brothers than colleagues. Rajinikanth and Prabhu have not only acted together, they also share a great camaraderie. This is evident in all their films, especially their last release together, Chandramukhi.
It is this relationship with the Superstar that has prompted Prabhu to agree to another of Rajni's requests. It is heard that director P. Vasu and the Superstar have convinced Prabhu to play an important role in Kuselan, the remake of the Malayalam hit Katha Parayumbol. The role is the one that Mukesh played in the Malayalam flick.
Kuselan already has Pasupathy and Meena as part of the cast. The Telugu version of the film was launched recently in Hyderabad in the presence of Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, former CM of Andhra Pradesh Chadrababu Naidu, Union minister Dasari Narayan Rao, Dr. D. Ramanaidu, Dr. Rajashekar, Venkatesh and Ram Charan Teja. Jagapthy Babu plays Pasupathy's role in the Telugu version. P. Vasu is directing the Telugu film as well.
With the film getting bigger and bigger, one is indeed getting very curious and anxious to see this venture.
