Recently, Nayantara said that Rajinikanth is a super combination of suaveness, style, and power, and he is as youthful as other young heroes these days. This was her response to comments about the age difference between her and the superstar.
She said that Rajni’s biological ageing has stopped. No one will believe their eyes when they watch Kuselan. Rajinikanth looks no different from many young heroes of today. She said that Rajni is one star who knows how to maintain his youth and there is a lot to learn from him.
She said that she has learnt a lot from the superstar, especially humility. She recalled how nervous she was when she was about to act with him for the first time in Chandramukhi. She was shivering while she stood near him for the first shot. The thought of sharing screen space with the superstar itself gave her the jitters. Rajni noticed this and he talked to her like an old friend. Rajni, Nayantara, and P. Vasu had a small informal chat. The assuring and soothing demeanour of actor comforted her. Soon, the superstar talked away Nayan’s fear and inhibitions as P. Vasu looked on amused. When everyone was ready for the shot and Rajni walked past, P. Vasu said, “Well, that is Rajni, the superstar. Do not fear and be yourself. You will be never comfortable with any other actor as you will be with him. He is such a gentleman.”
Recently, P. Vasu too recalled this incident while speaking to press reporters. Not just him and Nayantara, everyone is amazed by the superstar’s humility and the ability to empathize.
