Rambha has done an item number in the Kannada remake of Pithamagan titled Anatharu.
Rambha has danced where Simran had danced in the Tamil version. The song in Anatharu has been shot in a village in remote Karnataka.
The Kannada version features two talented actors of the Kannada film industry, Darshan (who plays Sathya) and Upendra (who plays Rudra). Sanghavi plays done the role of Parvathi, a pretty ganja seller.
Anatharu is directed by Sadhu Kokila and cinematography is by Krishnakumar.
The movie is a nice comeback for Rambha, who reigned Tamil and Kannada industry some time back. Rambha's dance sequence adds a commercial element to the movie.
