When the shoot for a movie is about to take off, it’s a big event where everyone in the industry is invited, and there’s quite a lot of fuss. But Ravi Varman’s Moscow-vin Kaveri had the quietest pooja yet.
The pooja took place at film city in the presence of just four celebs besides the director. On the agenda was a Thirukural recital by the renowned lyricist Vairamuthu followed by a poem reading by Ravi Varman. Padmashree Kamal Haasan played the director while K.S. Ravikumar wielded the clap board for the first cut. Also present at this subtle pooja was Oscar Ravichandran. This rather hushed ceremony marked the beginning of the shooting for the film that has a cast of fresh faces. Galatta.com wishes director-cinematographer Ravi Verman and the whole crew all the very best as their project takes off.
