This was a Hindi remake movie. The second part of this movie titled Lage Raho Munnabhai became a box office hit in Bollywood.
The remake rights for this movie have been brought by Gemini Film circuit. Raja will be directing this movie.
Jayam Ravi, who is always interested in doing remake movies, is expected to do the lead role in this movie, to be produced simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. In Telugu, Chiranjeevi will be playing the lead role.
