Anniyan did not have much of an impact on Sada’s career in spite of her modern get-ups in the song sequences that broke the ‘quiet-small town’ girl image. Following Anniyan, it was Jeeva’s Unnale Unnale that brought her back to the spotlight. But with the number of movies releasing these days and a number of new faces to adorn them, it becomes imperative that a rising star has a movie coming out at regular intervals.
Since the release of Unnale Unnale, the actress has been quite busy, but the release of Leelai, her movie with Madhavan, has been getting delayed, much to her disappointment! It’s not that she has no other movies on hand–the lady is busy with a film each in Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi, so she need not be too worried about slipping into oblivion.
Nevertheless, we are as eager to watch Leelai, just to check out the famous Maddy-Sada onscreen chemistry!
