Kalaipuli Dhanu is currently producing Sakkarakatti which is directed by his son Kalaprabhu. The film sees actor-director K. Bhagyaraj’s son Shanthnoo making his debut as hero. Music for the film is being composed by music maestro A.R. Rahman.
Shanthnoo is paired with Vedhika, who was seen recently in Simbu’s Kaalai, and newcomer Ishita. The film is a youthful romantic musical, says the director.
Currently, a song ‘I miss you da…’ written by Na. Muthukumar is being shot in Prasad Studios, Chennai for the film. A huge set that depicts how the city of New York would look after 500 years has been constructed at huge cost for this song. Shanthnoo and Vedhika are dancing along with 10 gorgeous French models in this song.
Director Kalaprabhu says that the total cost for shooting the song will come to around 2 crores.
