Sakthi, who made his debut in his dad P. Vasu’s Thottal Poo Malarum, has taken his time to choose his next projects. In fact, the lad has signed up for not just one, but three projects from the 20 stories that came to him.
One can see the youngster’s care in choosing his projects when you look at the directors he has latched on to. All the three were assistants of successful directors.
The first film, directed by Ravi who has worked as an assistant to director Lingusamy, will be Magesh, Sandhya Matrum Palar where he is paired with Sandhya.
Next, he does Aarpaatam for Raj Films International’s M. Ramanathan. The film, presented by Pyramid Saimira is to be directed by K. Dhana, a protégé of S.A. Chandrasekhar. Banu of Thamirabarani fame plays his love interest.
Finally, the actor has signed up for Aatanaayagan to be directed by Vikraman’s assistant Mithran, to be produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers.
Sakthi has also realised that the best way a hero can stay in business is by going for action-oriented roles. Yes, while the first will be a breezy romantic film, the other two are out-and-out action films which will see Sakthi flex his muscles.
