We all know Sandya as a cute, bubbly girl. But this image of hers is about to take a complete U-turn. The actress is donning a negative role in the Malayalam film D-17. The film also stars Atul Kulkarni in a very important role. The plot is based on all the incidents that take place in a single room D-17.
So will we see her in so-negative roles in Tamil as well? Well, Sandya feels that as compared to Tamil, Malyalam films and audiences are more open to experimentation. So for now, she is going to stick to her sweet image in Kollywood.
Her upcoming Tamil films include Thoondil with Shaam and Manjal Veyyil with Prasanna.
