The Santosh Subramaniam team decided to share their happiness over the film's success with everyone. To reach everyone, they sought the help of the press and Galatta.com yesterday. Jayam Raja, director of Santosh Subramaniam, convened this meeting. Actor Jayam Ravi and Genelia were present. Everyone looked very jubilant. In this meeting, the Santosh Subramaniam team shared their happiness about Santosh Subramaniam’s success and their experiences while making it. It was a beautiful and hospitable party yesterday by director Raja.
Director Raja, who spoke first, expressed his happiness about the film’s success. He expressed his thankfulness to each and every one in the Santosh Subramaniam unit. He said he is very proud with the response that his film has got and that earlier he has never seen two generations coming together to watch a film. In a theatre, he saw a young lad walking in carrying his grandmother to watch the movie. He said that he was very much surprised when he interviewed the audience; he came to know that it consisted of professionals like lawyers, doctors, and the likes and at the same time, it consisted of undergraduates too, in hsor people from all strata. So he is really happy to have created a movie which appeals to people from all walks of life and generations.
After that, Jayam Ravi spoke, expressing his thankfulness to the film’s unit and to his brother, director Raja. He said that he was perfectly at ease doing this film and there was no pressure on him because this was his first film after almost 18 months; such was the atmosphere during the shooting and such was the subject of the movie. He said that the film unit behaved like a family and really enjoyed the experience. When Genelia spoke, she thanked every one in the unit, particularly director Raja. She said that she owes the film’s success and her good show in the film to director Raja. Cameraman Kannan, in his speech, told that he is really happy to be a part of this blockbuster.
