His tryst with Kollywood began when his jeep was desperately sought for Superstar Rajinikanth's Badshah. Little did he know that along with his jeep, he too would feature in the film. This person was Daljeet Singh, 'the sardar who died in Badshah'.
Daljeet was a model in the early eighties. He was called upon whenever a North Indian character had to be played in ad films. Movies also happened for the same reason. He was part of the Badshah team for about three months and shared a very close rapport with the Superstar.
Daljeet has acted in Rakshagan and Vaali as well. His recent film is P. Vasu's Thottaal Poo Malarum.
