His angry young man Thambi was well-received and did loads of good for himself and Maddy. Then the two got together again for Evano Oruvan, only this time Seeman shed his director's role and joined Maddy on the screen. In fact, the two of them worked on the movie’s script together – Maddy translated it from Marathi under Seeman's supervision.
Another movie that brought the two together is Vazthukal, which has been evading release for reasons unknown. Here, as in Thambi, Seeman directs and Madhavan plays the male lead. The story is a string of realistic episodes strung together in a beautiful narrative. The specialty of the script is that Seeman has not used a single English word! Seeman’s passion for Tamil is such that he wanted and created a script completely and consciously devoid of English. Another novel attempt by two very motivated and enthusiastic guys, all out to revolutionize Tamil cinema!
